We take a committed and proactive approach to environmental responsibility, continually implementing measures that help us improve our performance across the various activities we carry out. With our sights set on the decarbonisation of industry, we work every day to build a more environmentally sustainable future.

Our environmental measures

Commitment to sustainability and staff development

  • We promote environmental protection, always employing the best economically viable practices and techniques to minimise environmental impacts, in particular by encouraging a reduction in the use of non-renewable resources and the prevention of pollution;

  • We promote the personal and professional development of all employees through awareness-raising, sensitisation and training initiatives, encouraging their participation in the Quality, Environment and Safety objectives of the various companies;

  • We encourage all contractors supplying goods and services to comply with standards of conduct equivalent to those in force within the Group;

  • We have purchased spill containment kits and marine containment barriers.

Reduction in CO₂ emissions

Our measures to
reduce CO2 emissions

  • We have replaced less energy-efficient equipment with more efficient alternatives;

  • We have installed solar panels to generate electricity;

  • We have replaced the existing lighting with LED lighting;

  • We organise training, awareness-raising and education initiatives for staff on environmental protection and the adoption of best practice in the use of energy and water resources;

  • We sort and segregate waste at all our sites;

  • We send contaminated waste from our operations for recovery;

  • We raise awareness amongst staff of the importance of reducing the number of printouts.
