At a national level, the ETE Group provides strategic services connecting the mainland to the island regions, regularly supplying the Autonomous Regions of the Azores and Madeira and meeting their specific needs.

  • Transport of all types of cargo, notably containerised cargo, general cargo, solid and liquid bulk, vehicles and the possibility of project cargo.

Internationally, the ETE Group operates regular services, typically every 10 days, linking Europe to Africa, with the best transit time on the market.

  • Cape Verde Express 3.0 Service – A direct, scheduled service with the best transit time on the market, connecting Portugal to Cape Verde in 6 days with weekly sailings.

  • Containerised coastal shipping (Cape Verde) – A service that efficiently ensures the regular transport of containerised cargo between Cape Verde’s main national ports, promoting territorial cohesion and the region’s logistical development.

  • Maroc Express service – A direct, scheduled service offering the best transit time on the market, connecting Portugal to Morocco. Weekly sailings depart on Thursdays from Leixões and on Fridays from Lisbon, arriving in Casablanca on Sundays.

To play a key role in linking the nine islands

The ETE Group provides a public inter-island passenger transport service (including small personal consignments) in Cape Verde, playing a key role in connecting the nine islands of the archipelago.

  • With a fleet of three vessels in operation — all tailored to Cape Verde’s flag and navigation requirements — the safety of passengers and crew is its top priority.

With a regular and reliable transport system, the ETE Group has revolutionised maritime transport in Cape Verde, bringing predictability and greater frequency to inter-island connections, which has a direct impact on meeting the needs of communities and economic operators. This service contributes daily to promoting territorial cohesion, facilitating the movement of goods and people, fostering integration between the country’s different regions, driving economic growth and helping to improve the quality of life for the Cape Verdean community.
