The ETE Group recently invested 14.2 million euros in the purchase of four new Liebherr harbour cranes, which have been put into service at its operations in the ports of Aveiro, Leixões and Setúbal.

The first Liebherr LHM 280 and LHM 420 cranes are already operational in Aveiro and Setúbal respectively, ports where the ETE Group operates, with the remaining LHM 420 cranes expected to be installed and commence operations at the Leixões General Cargo and Bulk Terminal (TCGL) during the first quarter of this year. The new LHM 280 and LHM 420 cranes, with maximum capacities of up to 84 and 124 tonnes respectively, thus join the other equipment operating at the various terminals, enabling an increase in cargo handling capacity and consequently enhancing the ETE Group’s capacity and efficiency in responding to its customers’ needs.
In light of the growing demands of port operations in the country, and with a focus on maintaining operational excellence in its activities, the ETE Group is keeping pace with the trend, marking the start of 2023 with new investments in the sector, continuing its mission to deliver integrated logistics solutions with a high standard of service.
