Thanks to its vast experience and focus on technological development and innovation capacity in the shipbuilding industry, Grupo ETE offers customised solutions in Engineering, Shipbuilding and Repair, as well as specialised services in the technical management of vessels and crews.

With a rich and comprehensive portfolio, it includes various types of vessels designed for national and international clients. Grupo ETE’s engineering area stands out for its wide diversity of services, which include:

  • Shipbuilding projects, vessels (including ferryboats), docking pontoons, and other floating equipment.;
  • Repair of port equipment, containers, and ships;
  • Technical and operational management of various types of ships, such as general cargo carriers, container ships, tankers, cement carriers, ferries, barges, and tugboats;
  • Implementation and supervision of the ISM Code (International Safety Management Code);

Navalprime is part of Grupo ETE and offers a variety of services focused on the maintenance and repair of port equipment, with a qualified team and extensive experience in the sector. With operations in workshops located at Cais da Pedra – Santa Apolónia, as well as in strategically located workshops in the container parks of Telheiras and Perafita, ensuring proximity and agility in service execution.

Navalprime provides naval repair and maintenance services in the areas of boiler making, mechanics, and electricity, in addition to cleaning and repairing containers and specialised procurement services.

    • Maintenance of 15,000 conventional containers;
    • Maintenance of 4,000 refrigerated containers per year;
    • 500 repairs and maintenance on vessels per year;

Maintenance and repair services are provided at two specialized mechanical workshops: one for container repairs in the Lisbon port area and another in the Leixões port area. Additionally, we have a presence in the Autonomous Regions of the Azores and Madeira, as well as in Cape Verde.

The shipyard, Navaltagus, located on the left bank of the Tagus River in Seixal, stands out for its vast experience and knowledge in creating innovative engineering solutions and naval repair, particularly in constructions, refits and vessel repairs.

  • 60 ships repaired per year;
  • Ship constructions: tugboats, support vessels, and Electric Ferry (1st in Portugal);

Shipyard Characteristics:

  • 30,000 m² of area;
  • Three slipways;
  • Fitting-out quay for ships with 100 metres in length, able to accommodate ships up to 120 metres long with a maximum draught of 4.0 metres;
  • Versatile workshops and technical capacity in boiler making, mechanics, electricity, piping, carpentry;
  • Services of cleaning, painting, blasting, high-pressure washing, spray painting, insulation, electrical, electronic, and automation repairs;
  • Provision of small repairs and mechanical equipment on board;

The shipyard, Naval rocha, located in a privileged area by the River Tagus, in the Port of Lisbon, at Rocha Conde de Óbidos, stands out as a reference in ship repair. Combining century-old infrastructure with innovative and modern management and repair techniques, the shipyard is recognised for the efficiency and quality of its services.

  • 45 ships repaired per year;

The shipyard also includes:

  • Dry dock no. 1: 174 metres in length, 23 metres in width, and 9.6 meters in depth;
  • Dry dock no. 2: 104 metres in length, 13 meters in width, and 7.3 metres in depth;
  • Dry dock no. 3: 64 metres in length by 11 metres in width with a draught of up to 4.25 metres;
  • Dry dock no. 4: 48 metres in length by 11 metres in width with a draught of up to 4 metres;

Dry docks no. 1 and no. 2, being the largest, have the ideal characteristics to accommodate large vessels:

The shipyard offers various services, with its own workshops and qualified teams capable of performing various tasks such as:

  • Blasting and high-pressure washing (200 to 700 bars);
  • Boiler making, aluminium works;
  • Repairs on mechanical equipment, piping, insulation, carpentry;
  • Electrical, electronic, and automation services;
