This is the main deliberative body, responsible for defining the global strategy of the Grupo ETE and assuming the functions assigned by Law and the Company Statutes.

The Board of Directors is the main decision-making body of the Group’s Holding. It is responsible for executing the global strategy, organising and defining the principles and policies to be pursued, institutional representation, and controlling the fulfilment of social and operational objectives.

The Executive Committee’s main mission is to provide more targeted oversight of the Group’s different business areas, with a view to implementing the strategy defined by the Strategic and Administrative Boards.

The Strategic Board, in turn, has the sole mission of defining long-term objectives for the Group, analysing trends and risks, as well as identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.

The Company Secretary shall attend meetings of the Board of Directors and the Strategic Board of the Group, and shall also perform other functions provided for by law.

The various boards of directors of the companies are responsible for managing the Group’s companies and meeting the defined budgets and objectives, executing the strategies and recommendations determined by the Board of Directors.

With responsibilities in the areas of planning and management control, finance, legal, communication and brand, human resources, accounting and taxation, certification, environment and safety, and information technologies, and business development, these corporate directions play the role of integrating the Group’s strategy, reflecting it transversally in all companies, both nationally and internationally.

The supervision of Grupo ETE companies, specifically the management by the Boards, compliance with the law and corporate provisions, and the regularity of accounting records, falls under the responsibility of the Supervisory Board or the Sole Auditors.

We work with trusted partners by assigning the role of the Group’s external auditors to PriceWaterhouseCoopers SROC, LDA, responsible for issuing certification on the financial statements and their preparation in accordance with applicable accounting standards, which includes analysing the Group’s internal control environment.

Responsible for data protection within the Grupo ETE, ensuring the best management of information and data of customers, suppliers, and the company itself, particularly all employees.
